Mixing Type & Shapes

As a personal project, this video was conceptualized over a goal to work with english words after a period of using music with Japanese lyrics that I can't understand and therefore could not design over. Here, I tried to make the words mean something in how they looked and moved, combining what I've learned in previous projects separating type and form. The second half of the video was something done on a whim. I wanted to try animating to rap lyrics for the first time and while it's less designed than the first half, I am proud of the planning it took to construct a somewhat followable wall of text.
